Small/Medium females are sold as a mixed size of smalls and medium females. Female crab eaters will argue that the meat is sweeter than that of the male crab. The females also differ from the males due to their potential egg (roe) content depending on the life cycle of the crab. Female crabs with eggs are not always available, so we recommend that you please call with any questions regarding their egg content if this is a “must have”.
